About Montrose, AL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Baldwin County, Alabama, Montrose is a small community found along Mobile Bay’s eastern shore. This community is found within the Daphne-Fairhope-Foley Micropolitan area. Montrose is located approximately 21 miles southeast of Mobile and 7 miles south of Daphne on US Highway 98.Eric Yelding, a former MLB player for the Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros, is the most notable Montrose native.

Montrose is a small community, so there are very few attractions located here. However, the community does have two sites that have been included with the National Register of Historic Places: the Montrose Historic District and the Henry Stuart House. More exciting attractions are located in nearby communities, like the Rock Creek Golf Club and Quail Creek Golf Course, both of which are located in Fairhope. Also found in Fairhope is Oak Hollow Farm, a great destination for a trail ride or to host a special event. Other notable attractions in the area include Meaher State Park in Spanish Fort and the USS Alabama, which is located in Mobile, Alabama.

Montrose residents will need to have both an air conditioning unit and a heat pump or furnace in place to stay comfortable during the changing, year-round weather conditions. During the winter, conditions are much warmer than other parts of the country, as high temperatures can reach the upper 50s. However, freezing temps do occur, so residents will want to keep their pipes and plumping work safe by investing in a heat pump or furnace.

Weather patterns will vary dramatically when the summer rolls around. The mild conditions disappear quickly, and hot and humid days can easily have high temperatures that reach in the 90s. In order to stay comfortable and to fend off potentially dangerous heat-related illnesses, residents will need to have access to a cool home with an efficient air conditioner.
