About Miflin, AL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Miflin, Alabama is located in Baldwin County. This unincorporated community is situated along County Route 20, also known as Miflin Road. It is situated about five miles southeast of Foley. Miflin is located approximately 43 miles southeast of Mobile, Alabama, and is only about a half an hour to drive to neighboring Pensacola, Florida.

Being a small, unincorporated community, Miflin is not home to any major attractions. The Swift Presbyterian Church is located here, and this listing on the National Register of Historic Places is likely the only notable site in the area. However, there are some interesting things to do a few miles to the north in Elberta. There are several outdoor recreational opportunities to find here at Wolf Bay Plantations and Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp – Resort, and visitors can check out the local sites at Sailing Cruises and Dolphin Watch. Other popular destinations include the Soldiers Creek Golf Course and the Butler County Heritage Museum.

The climate of Miflin is humid subtropical, and this means that residents will experience short winters with mild temperatures. The thermostat will typically reach the mid 50s during January, the coldest month, but about 12 days of freezing temperatures are also experienced per year. While snowfall is not common, these low temperatures make it necessary for homeowners to have a furnace or heat pump installed, just in case the weather takes a turn for the worse.

The hot summer weather in Miflin certainly makes up for cold fronts that may pass through the area during the winter. High temperatures can easily reach the 90s with high levels of humidity, and afternoon storms are extremely common. To stay safe and comfortable at home and work, Miflin residents will need to rely on their air conditioning units, and it is recommended that they be serviced before the harshest weather begins in order to ensure they operate properly.
